Bright Futures Virtual Tutoring Programmes
Our students, Kindergarten through Secondary, families and students will have a choice to attend one of our Bright Futures programmes. Our Bright Futures Virtual programmes will prepare students for the world of 21st century learning and instructional methodologies currently being used in Universities and Colleges.
Our Bright Futures Programmes consist of the choice between either a fully Virtual programme OR a Hybrid Programme (A Hybrid programme is a combination of in person classes and virtual classes schedule).

We prepare our students for the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) which is required for entry into International Universities
Project Based Learning
Project Based Learning (PBL) is a teaching methodology in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging and complex question, problem, or challenge.
Why Project Based Learning?
- PBL teaches 21st century skills in critical thinking, collaboration, and effective communication crucial in post-secondary college and career paths.
- Facilitates Real-world connections tied to student interest.
Incorporates culturally relevant projects which may include cases, inquiries, cross-cutting concepts, games, and much more.
Virtual Tutoring Information for Parents
We have implemented virtual solutions that are rigorous, engaging, and pegged to International standards. Our teachers communicate regularly families, and learners through controlled and structured formats of email, phone calls and video conferencing.
Our teacher driven active learning approach enables students to apply what they have learned, practice, and check their understanding. In addition, there are projectbased learning (PBL) activities.

- Instructional approaches are designed for students facilitating a highly personalized learning
Our Grades K-5 Elementary School tutoring programme consists of the main Subject Areas:
- Social Studies
- English and Language arts
- Project Based Learning
For Elementary level purchase of textbooks and workbooks may be required. Students are responsible for their own stationery supplies and project based learning materials.
Our Elementary Curriculum is pegged to United States Common Core curriculum which has comparative benchmarks to our local elementary curriculum. The content and certain academic elements of our programme will satisfy covers the necessary benchmarks or SEA. Elementary does not offer exclusive SEA examination prep due to the academically holistic nature of our programmes.
Yes. Our staff and the online teachers work to ensure that we work toward meeting the goals and objectives outlined in a student’s individual education plan. Our pedagogical approach to virtual learning includes both one-on-one individualized and small group instruction leveraging Zoom technology and other learning platforms.
In order to effectively serve the specific needs of our Students the Virtual Academy will use a combination of several Platforms: Edmodo Courses, Zoom Conferencing, Email and Telephone.
The Bright Futures programmes will require the following technology: a working computer and webcam, a working printer, a reliable high speed internet connection, a reliable and working email address and phone number.
Parents are provided with our Edmodo learning Management system login information so that they can see the progress of their student at any time.
Technical help is available for all students / parents who are experiencing any technical problems.
9:00 – 9:15am – Morning Full Class Assembly – School Prayer Talk about plans for the day / Daily Routines etc.
9:15 – 10 – Period
10 – 10:40 – Period
11: 00- 11:30 – Lunch
12:00- 12:40 – Period

**Teaching methods and schedules will vary based on academic levels. Example Full zoom teaching each period, handouts etc.
Apex curriculum providers and high school programmes are internationally accredited. Accreditation is the academic world’s way of ensuring quality educational programs and is awarded based on the quality of academic programs, teacher support and student services.
